Dear Michael, a ban on photographing inside the factories has slowed down a lot of my initial enthusiasm.
There is nothing we can do about this. The plant pictures I have are all either from clients or from publications. I don’t know of any plant worth seeing that allows visitors to take photographs. Each visitor takes notes during the visit, and all share these notes in the review meeting just after the visit.
During the tour, we coach the participants in learning the most from the visits They usually come from different backgrounds in management or engineering, and notice different details. The big picture emerges when they share their perspectives after the visit.
